Wagner ist ein international anerkannter Komponist und Arrangeur. Er hält akademische Graduation in Musik von der BUTLER UNIVERSITY (Indianapolis). Seit über dreissig Jahren unterrichtet er an der NORTH CENTRAL High School, Indianapolis WO er auch Vorsitzender der kunstabteilung ist. Viele seiner Kompositionen gewanne verschieden Auszeichnung, womit er auch Mitglied der Vereinigung ASCAP ist. Über 1400 Werke wurden bereits veröffentlicht, worunter Werke für Chor, Orgel, Gesang und Piano ebense zu finden sind wie Kompositionen für Orchester verschiedener Art.

DOUGLAS E. WAGNER is a native of Chicago, IL, and an internationally recognized composer and arranger. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in music from Butler University, Indianapolis, IN. Presently in his thirtieth year of teaching at North Central High School, Indianapolis, IN, he is the chairman of the Performing Arts Department. He is an ASCAP award-winning composer, a past member of the board of directors of Choristers Guild, a past editor for the Lorenz Publishing Company, and has also served many denominations as a church musician. Devoting a good deal of his time to composition and its allied activities, Doug has published over 1, 400 titles, including works for choir (sacred and secular), handbell ensemble, concert band, orchestra, organ, voice and piano. With 122 different choral, handbell and keyboard titles in print with Hope/Agape Publishing, he is a major contributor to the companies catalogs.
