Bernofsky, Lauren Lauren Bernofsky (b. 1967, Rochester. MN) fing ihr musikalisches Training im Alter von sieben Jahren als Violinschülerin an. Ihr Studium absolvierte sie am New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. Ihr Examen auf der Violine und für Komposition erreichte sie am New England Conservatory, Ihr Doktorat für Komposition erhielt sie an an der Boston University. Ihr musikalisches Schaffen reicht von Ensemblemusik über Kammer- und Orchestermusik bis hin zu Chor- und Vocal- kompositionen.

Lauren Bernofsky (b. 1967, Rochester, MN) began her musical training at age seven as a violinist and was later introduced to composition while studying at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. She holds an bachelor's degree in violin and composition from the Hartt School of Music, a master's degree in composition from the New England Conservatory, and a doctorate in composition from Boston University. She has written music for ensembles ranging from solo instruments to chamber music to symphony orchestra. Dr. Bernofsky has been the recipient of numerous commissions, and her compositions have been performed across the United States as well as in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.
