Daniele Carnevali wurde 1957 geboren. Er absolvierte für Trompete und Blasorchesterinstrumentierung am Konservatorium von Parma und für Chormusik und Orchesterdirektion und der Musikhochschule von Bologna. Er spielte Trompete mit verschiedenen Orchester, Bigbands und Jazzensembles und war Lehrer an den Konservatorien von Parma und Modena. Er komponiert für Sinfonisches Blasorchester und hat schon viele Preise bei nationalen Kompositionswettbewerben für Blasorchester bekommen. Er dirigiert das Blasorchester des Blasmusikverbandes von Trentino und das Sinfonische Blasorchester des Konservatoriums von Trento. Er hat dieses Orchester, das erste Konservatoriumblasorchester in Italien, gegründet. Seit 1987 unterrichtet Carnevali Blasorchesterkomposition und Instrumentierung am Konservatorium von Trento. Er ist auch Musikdirektor des Wettbewerbs "Flicorno d'Oro", des wichtigsten internationalen Glasmusikwettbewerbs in Italien.

Born in 1957, he graduated in trumpet and band instrumentation from Parma Conservatory and in choral music and chorus direction from Bologna Conservatory. He has alternated work as trumpeter with various orchestras and as teacher at the Parma and Modena Conservatories. At the same time he has composed original band pieces for which he has won numerous prizes and nominations at national contests. He has been guest director of the most important Italian bands and was resident director of the Sabbioneta (Mn) band between 1978 and 1982, the Parma band between 1984 and 1988, the "Grande Banda Rappresentativa della Federazione Trentina" (between 1990 and 1994), the Albiano (Tn) band between 1993 and 1997 and the Trento Conservatory band (which he founded and which is the first of its kind in Italy), where he has been professor of band instrumentation since 1987. He is currently director of the "Trentino Wind Band" (T.W.B.) which is composed of 50 graduates and which he has directed at concerts and during recording sessions. In July 1998 he won first prize on the occasion of the prestigious International Competition in Valencia (Spain). He was artistic director of the first four editions of the international band competition "Flicorno d'Oro" held in Riva del Garda and is frequently invited to sit on juries, both in Italy and abroad. He holds conferences, stages and seminars, also in collaboration with composers of world-wide acclaim such as Andrè Waignein, Jan van der Roost and others.
